For the last couple of days, I have been away, in a rather but an interesting environment altogether. I loved the experience, not because it was good but because it was new and unique.

Wajir: My One Hour Experience

As I write this post, am just taking time on my hotel bed minutes after landing at Wajir international airport. You are surprised its called Wajir international airport, don't be, aircraft from Somali converge here before proceeding to Nairobi. I do not know the reason why but I guess its because of security reasons.
My one hour experience in wajir county is that the only coverage of tarmac is within the airport and not entirely, only the runway, this notwithstanding the international status. As we head outside the airport into the taxi bay, I noticed that the whole place is Sandy. Its hard to differentiate the road and a plain ground. Wondering where we gonna lay our heads for the next one or so weeks, Dula our taxi man comfortably takes us into a cool but bushy vicinity. This will be our domicile for the time being. With regard to our prior experiences, we are not amused by the desolation of this place. But we are just informed that it is the only choice if not the better one.
We book rooms and immediately head to town to quench the pangs of hunger. Don't judge us, we left Nairobi so early. At the restaurant, am fascinated by the swiftness of this waiter. He doesn't take orders, he tables what he thinks befits you. Early this morning it is a norm for any of us to have a cup of tea, but that's not the case here. We are served with roasted goat meat, a delicacy that reminds me of my three days in isiolo. Such are the moments that you wish would last forever. The town is full of donkeys and goats. The car parking is anyway even in the middle of the road. Traveling wagons are what defines the parking lot, this brings up another memory; of eldoret town and the Toyota vits swag.
Am still watching, currently our hotel rooms have no electricity, I really do not know what is happening back there in Kenya, please guys keep me posted. OK

The Ku Klux Clan

The Ku klux clan is at it again. Tearing the flesh of the nation in the quest to quench their untamed greed for material wealth. But what is more, they are not a worried lot, neither are they shaken by some media blackmail and innuendos. Their agent is residing at the house on the hill. He preaches water but his eyes tells you its wine, he talks tough but Lenku does soft and rhetorically, he inspires through public appearances but fails to sustain our high spirits. This is a tale of an average Kenyan, a kenyan who believes that leadership should offer solutions and not create problems, that leadership should spearhead development and not retrogress on the gains already made.

Am a sad man if not a sad Kenyan, ever since the jubilee government took on the mantles of powers, our candles of hope have been dimming, and they have been dimming at an unprecedented rate. Needless to say, the corruption therein, is inherent, but also it goes without saying that the two flamboyant chaps have perfected the art of massaging corruption with well written public speeches. The law is supreme, and the law stipulates clearly how the affairs of the nation are to be carried out, it demarcates delegation of duty from the sovereign power of the Kenyan people. Inasmuch as the back stops at the head of state, he represents the people and that means the back stops at each one of us.His decisions influence the national trajectory, his discretion is a collective sum of the Kenyan people and that should tell Mr. Kenyatta the gravity of the office he has been given by the Kenyan people.

About yesterday's revocation of some 22 company held title deeds, I am glad I did not waste my time listening to what I perceive as a comic moment where the entire nation is to be told lies and propaganda to settle political scores and set another PR mission, I was right he just did. Just like before, Uhuru Kenyatta has done little to convince me that I can sell him my trust. The guy is confident, why lie! But the guy is a propagandist. It defeats the purpose of a nation trying to mine truth from its agent who consistently fabricates findings that implicate his adversaries at the expense of National truth. With the mandate to protect the Kenyan people, his failure so far as always been blamed on the opposition. So funny if not petty.

So, If indeed yesterday's revelations are anything to go by, then it is my belief, that according to the president this explains the Genesis of the Lamu massacre altogether. If this is true then the audit report is long overdue and contradicts any other intelligence information there before. Sometimes back I was shocked to watch the president unequivocally blaming political machinations on the Mpeketon attacks. I wasn't alone, the response from the public was quick and tremendous. The logic at which this allegations were founded on was not even next to academic theories. An intelligence information done too quick within one day and goes on to implicate certain individuals while the Westgate report which took a couple of months is still a myth to a majority of us. Who can be fooled by such mediocre blame games. And now how comes governor Timmammy the victim of all this power tussles was yesterday right behind the president when he was once more lying to the entire nation. Has the new unfolding s, acquitted Timmammy of any wrong doings? Which court has affirmed that?

Now Mr. President, what is it again about land and the Lamu discourse. Now which road shall we take? My choice is at your disposal Mr. President, should we take the political orchestrations or shall we go with the yet to be revealed Ku klux clan of pigs. Another question begs, is this audit report that has exposed this rot in Lamu put into perspective the TJRC findings? Another question begs, According to you, what shall we take seriously, your people's report or the TJRC report? So how logical is it that the TJRC report finds land injustices way back during independence time, while your report finds injustices only when Aggrey James Orengo oversaw the land docket? Does your report highlight the court case on how Jomo allocated thousands of acres of land to your cousin Muigai and Beth Mugo? When are we going to get your apology as required by the TJRC report?

A friend of mine Dr. Ben Osama today in the morning posted on his facebook wall, "It is very hard to take Jubilee seriously. Interrupting #Mary Cruz to tell us land was grabbed(it has been here since 1963), and Orengo was minister as 22 companies grabbed 500k acres when the Judiciary is functional. Such a declaration should come from activists like #Sonko, OkiyaOmtata and the likes. But a Presidential Presser? No" Am not the only one who does not take this regime seriously, and am not the only one who thinks Uhuru Kenyatta is a joke who had no idea about what he was going to state house to do. As a matter of fact, the son of Jomo knows nothing about geopolitical dynamics of Kenya, and according to Cyprian Nyakundi, a wrong advise to this boy, is drastic for this nation, for he doesnt have the discretion to separate good from evil.
